The Pragmatist (I-V-A-G)
Practical, independent, hates downside; trusts a tested gut.
You trust your gut to keep you safe — so you never grow.
Practical, fiercely independent, allergic to downside, and running on a battle-tested gut built from real mental models. You invert problems, you know exactly where you'd get hurt so you simply never go there, and you answer to no crowd. Quick judgment, but tuned to avoid the blow-up — which is why you almost never have one. The Munger machine. But you trust your gut to keep you safe, so you never grow. Your blind spot is Loss Aversion locked together with Status Quo Bias: the same instinct that keeps you out of trouble makes the downside of change loom larger than the upside, so you pass on the unfamiliar and stay with what's already worked. New domains, new tools, new ways of thinking — they all feel like risk you don't need. And so the edge that's protected you slowly becomes the wall that fences you in. You won't fail loudly. You'll just stop learning, comfortably, and call it discipline.
